Episode one of Big Trucks Low Bucks. Mutiny on the Bounty Hole. Every year I try to take one of my mud trucks to the Moses Lake Wa. $1000 Bounty Hole competition, something stops me. This year I may have to give up before I start... but at least I can just go watch. Or can I?
The Big Mud Trucks of our region battle it out for the $1000 in cash plus bragging rights to be king... or queen? of the Bounty Hole. Zane Buchanan with his 632ci powered Chevy 4 door has the power, but on only 44" Boggers, does he have the tires to compete with the Freak on a Leash Jeep on 54"+ Superior Traction tires also spun by a gigantic 632 big block?
But don't rule out the other Big Trucks coming. Dan Manchester, travelling the furthest from Klamath Fall's Oregon has 57" V-Tread tires on his Ford "Cop Truck" with a blown rear engine big block, and small trucks like Lloyd Standish on paddle tires, with a high horsepower lighter small block and lighter truck are wanting to see if they can stay on top of the nearly bottomless mud hole.
Could be anyone's game... but learn about the origins of this event and a little about those who started it, and get a few glimpses of the action from past years. In the meantime, I learn how difficult it can be to just go from point A to point B,C,D, and E without a few problems along my way.
