This weekend is full of mud, from side by side mud races held out at Stateline Speedway to the Team Mud Bogs and $2000 Bounty Hole in Moses Lake.
In part 1, we are getting ready for the trip to Moses Lake. I had to pull some leaf springs to bring with to sell while we are there, and I'm towing out the "Mistress" Bronco which is a Mega Truck on 2.5 ton Rockwells with a 557 Ford stroker for friend Don of D&J Automotive, so his wife Heather can enter the Bounty Hole with it, and Don runs the FWB Buggy in the same competition. But first there's a few things to get ready on each plus my Budget/modified Christmas Suburban that's going with for our support and transport vehicle at the sand dunes and mud flats.
But before all that, I'm letting Jake use one of my other trailers to tow both his rigs to Stateline, Idaho for the races. He's calling out fellow racer Chris in the Super Modified class. But that's not all, Kyle just put a big block in his Blazer and is eager to race Jeff Thomas in Sportsman Class, and we have Stock class mud racing veteran Don Scott in his faithful old Chevy defending his years of wins, and new racer Anne Carl of Rockstar Wheelers out to race for the first time in Big Momma Jeep.
So in Part 1, we head out Friday evening to the race track and see what happens.
