Rusty Hale and Michael Hefling have been racing each other for years but this time they are calling each other out at the NMRA races coming up to see who can beat who.
I'm returning home from the Purcell Trench Ranch with the Mountain Mafia in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and up and coming this next weekend is the Mountain Mania Mudsports Fall event in Valley, Washington. Several friends are getting ready for the NMRA races, $1000 Money Pit and general wheeling and mud bogs that are taking place there.
I have to start clearing out our property we are selling, and start letting go of old memories, while in the meantime arranging my schedule to pick up, drop off parts and be where I need to be by the time the weekend hits.
We pay a visit to Jeff Cassell in Spokane of Cassell Engines, and learn about a few local mud rigs with Neil Ackerman and Nick Burns. And I make a stop in with Sam Thomas at The Shop in Kettle Falls to drop off roller rockers and switch tires on one of my rigs for Don Grant and Jacob Weston of D&J Automotive to run in the Money Pit. Lots of big tire rigs are lining up to take the $1000 but which one of them will win the cash? And who will win between Michael and Rusty at the races?
