In Mousesteps Weekly #210, we talk all about our 5 night press trip on the Carnival Vista!

Some of our topics:

Food on the Carnival Vista, including the SeaDay Brunch; Ji Ji lunch; Guy's Burger Joint; Fahrenheit 555; Guy's Pig & Anchor; Fresh Creations (salad); Dr. Seuss Breakfast with Cat in the Hat & Friends; Cucina del Capitano and Pizzeria del Capitano. These are scattered throughout the show, not in all one segment.

We had the opportunity watch Dr. Strange on the Imax screen (the only one at sea!) We take a look at the theater.

Jeff pedaled his way around the ship, 150 feet above the sea on the Skyride! We take a look at his ride.

We visit Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic and take a tour that brings us through the countryside. We then stop at the Skybar, and talk about the cabanas that can be rented by the day (including the 1000 foot Grand Cabana!)

The towel animal zoo on the pool deck is always a favorite of ours! Hundreds of towel animals surprise guests when they wake up. In the past, this has been on cruises we sailed on the last day, this was on the last port day.

Jeff tried his hand at both the Kaleid -o-Slide and the Twister water slides in the WaterWorks pool area.

Our next stop is Grand Turk, one of our very favorite ports! It is one of the ports - along with Amber Cove - that Carnival has developed. We went on a Catamaran cruise that included snorkeling and a beach visit.

The Red Frog Pub on the Carnival Vista includes not only the pub, but a brewery with a brewmaster. It is a first for Carnival, and they plan to continue with breweries on future ships. The brewery currently brews three Thirsty Frog beers.

For Christmas (which was just two weeks away), Santa was there for a tree lighting ceremony.
